Rogers Seeks Re-Election, Thanks Supporters

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers, chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, has filed qualifying paperwork to run for reelection in 2026.

In a statement released after filing, Rogers thanked constituents in Alabama’s Third Congressional District for their continued support and thanked President Donald Trump for his early endorsement.

“I want to thank the constituents of Alabama’s Third District for their continued faith in me to represent them in Washington,” Rogers said. “I’d also like to thank President Trump for his early and strong endorsement. I am very grateful for his trust in me to champion and help pass his peace through strength agenda in Washington.

“Throughout the next two years, we must complete what we started under President Trump. We must close our borders, protect the unborn, unleash American energy, and grow our economy.”
