In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours, there were no new arrests to report.

Below are arrests made since Friday, Jan. 2, which have not been previously posted due to a technical issue at the Cherokee County Detention Center:

Anthony Rico, age 63, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence of combined substance, 2nd degree unlawful possession of marijuana, and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Brandon Lamar Smith, age 39, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of 3rd degree burglary, 1st degree theft or property, the unlawful possession of a hemp product, and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, as well as for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Brandon Tyler Henderson, age 30, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on two previous charges.

Lucas Gauge Crabtree, age 21, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol.

William Charles Sparks, age 35, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on a charge of larceny theft shoplifting.

Shawn Lee Garrett, age 48, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
