SAND ROCK — Jonas Browder sank 14-of-17 free throws and connected on three 3-pointers to finish with a game-high 31 points in leading the Sand Rock Wildcats to a 66-51 basketball victory over Fyffe on Saturday.
Browder also contributed four rebounds and four assists for the Wildcats. Wyatt Miller managed 16 points, nine rebounds, a steal, and a block. Elijah Hood had 13 points, five rebounds, five steals, and four assists. Will Cleere finished four points, six rebounds, two assists, and a steal.
Patrick Wilbanks led Fyffe with 12 points, including a pair of treys. Jaden Hammonds finished with eight points.
Sand Rock led at each of the quarter breaks. The Wildcats held an 18-16 advantage at the end of the first quarter and a 30-27 edge at halftime. Sand Rock built a 51-41 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
Sand Rock travels to Cedar Bluff on Tuesday.
