HIGDON – The Collinsville Panthers split a pair of basketball games in the North Sand Mountain Holiday Tournament.
On Saturday, the Panthers dropped their first game to Franklin County (Tenn.) by the final of 57-55.
After taking the lead with under a minute to go, the Panthers gave up an offensive rebound leading to the go-ahead bucket with 36 seconds left.
Gavin Lang led Collinsville with 18 points. Sylas Adams added 12 points, and Sam Stewart finished with 10 points.
On Tuesday, Collinsville claimed a 47-45 comeback victory over Central Magnet (Tenn.).
After falling behind by 20 points early, Collinsville rallied from a 13-point fourth quarter deficit to earn the win.
Stewart tossed in 12 points and Gavin Lang added 11 to lead the Panthers.
Collinsville (7-3) will travel to Sylvania to take for an area game on Friday.
