In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Brendan Cook, age 20 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on hold for another agency.

Jarett Helms, age 35 of Cape Coral, was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Gregory Reed, age 52 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 90 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
