Sand Rock boys finish third in Hilton Sandestin Beach Blowout

FREEPORT, Fla. – Will Cleere collected 18 points, 13 rebounds, three steals, and an assist in leading the Sand Rock Wildcats to a 69-46 basketball win over Lakeshore (La.) to finish third in the Hilton Sandestin Beach Blowout on Tuesday.

Thomas Snead tallied nine points, three rebounds, three steals, and an assist for the Wildcats. Elijah Hood had eight points, seven rebounds, and three assists.

All-tournament selection Jonas Browder contributed six points, six assists, three steals, and two rebounds. Jaxon Bruce finished with six points, eight rebounds, four blocks, four steals, and three assists.

Both teams were tied at 9 after a quarter, but then Sand Rock went on a 29-6 run to take a 38-15 advantage at halftime. The Wildcats led 55-32 at the end of the third quarter.

Sand Rock hosts Fyffe on Jan. 3.
