PIEDMONT, Ala.– The City of Piedmont is reminding residents about changes to garbage collection during the New Year week.

Garbage service will run on a normal schedule, with one exception. Thursday’s pickup, January 1st, will be delayed until Friday, January 2nd. All other pickup days will remain on their regular schedule.

Residents are asked to have their garbage cans out and ready for collection on their scheduled day. The city encourages everyone to share this information with neighbors and friends.
