Jacob Smith, age 40 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of conditional release violation (court order).

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 90 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
