Lola Belle Dorsett, age 95, of Cedar Bluff, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Cherokee County Health and Rehab.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Perry Funeral Home, with Rev. Scott Hosey officiating. Burial will follow at Union Methodist Church Cemetery on County Road 48 in the Blue Pond community. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will include Bryan Dorsett, Kyle Gullatt, Gary Gullatt, Ryan Wade, Brandon Hawkins, Jimmy Dale Hawkins, Greg Dorsett, Greg Dotson, and Dale Dotson. Honorary pallbearers will be Randall Dorsett, James Dorsett, Jerry Anderson, Jerry Givens, and David Moses.

Ms. Dorsett is survived by her son, Chris (Pam) Dorsett; grandson, Bryan Dorsett; and great-granddaughter, Sutton Dorsett.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Dorsett; her parents, Samuel and Willie Gullatt; her brothers, Douglas Gullatt and Wayne Gullatt; and her sister, Ruth Gullatt Dotson.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Cherokee County Health and Rehab and Southern Care New Beacon for the loving care shown to Ms. Dorsett.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Union Cemetery Fund (c/o Karen Robertson, P.O. Box 206, Leesburg, AL 35983) in Ms. Dorsett’s memory.
