GADSDEN – Kylie Vadon tossed in 26 points, including three 3-pointers. She also had five steals, three rebounds, and two assists in leading the Cedar Bluff Lady Tigers to a 53-19 basketball win over Coosa (Ga.) in the Gaston Christmas Tournament on Monday.

Janaya Higgins added 11 points, eight rebounds, five steals, and two assists for the Lady Tigers. Ciana Smith connected on a pair of 3-pointers and had eight points, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

Scarlett Brown also sank a pair of treys and finished with six points, six rebounds, three steals, and two assists.

Makenna Manley led Coosa with eight points. Iniyah Kelley finished with five points.

Cedar Bluff jumped out to a 29-7 lead at the end of the first quarter and led 37-13 at halftime. The Lady Tigers held a 48-17 advantage at the end of the third quarter.

Cedar Bluff plays Spring Garden in the tournament on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.
