According to the Cherokee County Sheriff Department, one suspect is in custody and 2 others are still at large. They are considered armed and dangerous!!

There is a large law enforcement presence in the area of W. Main Street and S. River Street. Sheriff’s Office personnel and other Cherokee County law enforcement agencies are searching for three Black males who are suspects in an armed robbery that occurred late Saturday night in Floyd County, Georgia.

Deputies located the suspect vehicle on Cedar Bluff Road, and a pursuit began. The vehicle later crashed on W. Main Street, and the suspects ran from the scene heading south.

Residents in this area are asked to stay inside their homes, lock their doors, and call 911 if they see anything suspicious.
