27-Year-Old Faces Multiple Charges After Railroad Track Incident

LINDALE, Ga.– Joseph Matthew Wheeler, 27, of Lindale, was arrested this week after being found walking on railroad tracks between North 2nd Avenue and Center Street.

According to authorities, Wheeler ignored repeated commands from officers to stop. When approached, officers discovered methamphetamine in his pants pockets.

Following his booking, additional methamphetamine was allegedly found in a cigarette pack in Wheeler’s possession.

He now faces multiple charges, including obstruction, criminal trespass, possession of methamphetamine, crossing the guard line with drugs, and four counts of probation violation.
