Cherokee County Deputy Ethan Stone Graduates Sheriff’s Academy

Centre, Ala. — The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office is recognizing Deputy Ethan Stone following his graduation from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Academy, marking the beginning of his law enforcement career serving the citizens of Cherokee County.
Deputy Stone, a United States Marine, brings military discipline, commitment, and a strong sense of public service to the Sheriff’s Office, officials said. During the graduation ceremony, Stone received his APOSTC certification from his father, Phillip Stone, a former captain with the Etowah County Sheriff’s Office and a former deputy with the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff’s Office officials noted that the moment highlighted a family legacy of service and dedication to the community.
Deputy Stone will now begin his field training program, where he will gain hands-on experience before assuming full patrol duties.
