Cedar Bluff boys blow out Spring Garden 47-20

SPRING GARDEN – The Cedar Bluff Tigers woke up Thursday morning to find themselves ranked in the top 10 of the Class 2A boys basketball rankings.

They lived up to their new ranking at Spring Garden by winning their fourth game in a row.

Behind 11 points apiece from Kyler Bradley and Shon Gleen, the Tigers blew past the Panthers by the final of 47-20.

The Tigers (9-5) built a 15-4 advantage at the end of the first quarter, then went on a 16-2 run in the second to take a 31-6 lead at halftime. Cedar Bluff took a 46-13 edge into the fourth quarter.

Bradley connected on three 3-pointers in the game. Zach Jones and Zyrese Wynn both contributed eight points. Jonas Brown finished with six points.

Zane Edwards led the Panthers (2-4) with five points.

Spring Garden travels to Sand Rock on Friday before taking on Saks in the Cherokee Invitational at Gaylesville on Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. Cedar Bluff plays Ohatchee in the Cherokee Invitational on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
