GAYLESVILLE – The 2025 Cherokee Invitational is set for Friday and Saturday at the Gaylesville High School gym. The host Trojans open the tournament on Friday by hosting Valley Head. The girls game is scheduled to tip at 5 p.m., followed by the boys at 6:30 p.m.
The action continues on Saturday with eight games, beginning with Spring Garden and Saks girls at 9 a.m., followed by Spring Garden and Saks boys at 10:30 a.m. Cedar Bluff’s girls and boys battle Ohatchee at noon and 1:30 p.m. respectively. Sand Rock’s girls take on Oxford at 3 p.m., followed by Sand Rock’s boys tangling with Chattooga at 4:30 p.m.
The tournament concludes with Cherokee County girls and boys battling Southside at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. respectively.
Admission to the tournament is $8 both days.
