Sand Rock Baptist Church to Host “Journey to Bethlehem” This Weekend
SAND ROCK — Sand Rock Baptist Church is inviting the community to experience a unique Christmas event as it hosts its annual “Journey to Bethlehem” this Saturday and Sunday evening. The interactive, family-friendly program is designed to bring the biblical Christmas story to life and offer visitors a vivid look at the events surrounding the birth of Jesus.

The event will take place on Saturday, December 13, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and again on Sunday, December 14, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Guests will travel through a series of scenes depicting the journey to the manger, complete with live portrayals and atmospheric settings reminiscent of Bethlehem on the night of Christ’s birth.
In addition to the guided walk-through experience, the church will be serving hot chocolate to help guests warm up as they make their way through the outdoor displays.
Church organizers say the event is designed for all ages and encourages families, church groups, and community members to attend and reflect on the meaning of the season.
“Journey to Bethlehem” is open to the public, and there is no admission charge.
For more information, residents may contact Sand Rock Baptist Church or visit during event hours.
