The DeKalb County football coaches recently selected their All-DeKalb County Team.

Geraldine’s Jon Beck Wade earned the overall Player of the Year. Co-Offensive Players of the Year are Collinsville’s Mason McAteer and Fyffe’s Ryder Gipson. Co-Defensive Players of the Year are Plainview’s Cam Horton and Geraldine’s Kenneth Watson. Athlete of the Year went to Plainview’s Owen Hope.

Joining McAteer from Collinsville (8-3) as all-county selections is Gavin Lang, Sylas Adams, Noah Johnson, and Bronner Jones.

Travis Ledford and Kyler Beene are Panther honorable mention players.

Joining Horton and Hope from Plainview (13-1) is Brodie Hodges, Cole Holland, Sawyer Wilborn, Jack Riley Blackwell, Dawson Sanford, Kris Sandlin, Janzen Currie, and Grant Hampton.

Cy Traylor, Tripp Ledbetter, Griffin Traylor, Creek Johnson, Arian Gardner, and Brayden Lingerfelt are Bear honorable mention players.

Joining Wade and Watson from Geraldine (11-2) is Eli Schlageter, Dylan Galloway, Eli Mitchell, Trevor Williams, Gabe Garcia, Jacob Bryant, and Braxton Franklin.

Kasen Vanicelli, Noah Butler, Cooper Johnson, Lucas Phillips, Kason Armstrong, and Kade Justice are Bulldog honorable mention players.

Weston Evans, Hunter Lathum, Noah Guinn, Brycen Green, and Ryder Smith join Gipson from Fyffe (8-3).

Maddox Doss, Jay Carter Lyles, Hayden Parker, Cooper Harrison, and Conner Hutcherson are Red Devil honorable mention players.

Seth Ledford, Travis Owens, Bryson Cook, and Lucas Buttram represent Sylvania (3-7).

Noah White, Sammy Anderson, Slaytor Waldrop are Ram honorable mention players.

Selected from Valley Head (3-7) is Ben Johnson, Cayson McElrath, and Tytan Blevins.

Jackson Mann, Brayden Hughes, and Luthor Wright are Tiger honorable mention players.
