The Cherokee County Commission adopted a Resolution honoring the Lady Warriors Volleyball Team during its regular meeting Monday.
The Resolution was read by Commissioner Roger Nichols recognizing the Volley Ball Team for their 2025 State Championship.
During the season, they won 51 games with only 9 loses and earned several titles along the way including Smith Lake Classic Champions, Back to Back Cherokee County Champions, 4 peat Area Champions, 3 peat Elite Eight Qualifiers, and North Super Regional Champions. On October 30th, they claimed the AHSAA 4-A State Championship. This is the first State Championship in Volleyball earned by the school.
The Commission asked the Team to have their picture made with the Commission.
