Winners Announced for the 2025 Centre Christmas Parade

CENTRE, Ala– Winners have been announced for the 2025 Centre Christmas Parade, held Thursday night under this year’s theme, “A Magical Small Town Christmas.” The event featured entries from civic groups, businesses, and schools across the community.

This year’s parade was judged by Jessica Mohler of Rome, Georgia; Jennifer Gault of Jacksonville, Alabama; and Chiquita Steward of Glencoe, Alabama.

In the Civic/Nonprofit division, Lookout Mountain Cowboy Church claimed the top two spots, with its Church #1 entry taking first place and Church #2 earning second. Weiss Lake Church finished in third place.

The Business category was led by Blake’s Landscaping & Tree Service, which took first place. Abernathy Dirt Works earned second, and Bannister Construction/Convenience placed third.

In the Schools division, The Works School of Cosmetology received first-place honors. Gadsden State College took second place, and Centre FFA rounded out the top three.

Mayor Jay Howell and the Centre City Council expressed their appreciation for the strong community turnout and support for this year’s parade.

Organizers thanked all participants, attendees, and judges for helping make the 2025 Centre Christmas Parade a festive community celebration.
