In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Wendy Ball, age 54 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on a charge of 4th degree theft of property.

Sharon King, age 61 of Centre, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of possession with intent, three counts of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Justin Thompson, age 35 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of four counts of revoked bond.

Sandy Jacobs, age 53 of Dothan, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of three counts of forgery counterfeiting, 4th degree theft of property, and three counts of forgery forged instrument.

Wesley Quarles, age 37 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on a charge of 3rd degree domestic violence.

Ronald Haynes, age 74 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Gerald Taylor, age 52 of Cedartown, Georgia, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of conditional release violation.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 104 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
