Mrs. Sara Lena (Murphy) Tallent, age 94 of Gaylesville, passed away Wednesday, November 26th 2025.
A graveside service will be held 12PM Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025 at Berea Cemetery with Gary McCurdy and David Mitchell officiating.
Pallbearers will include Jake Rose, Joshua Wade, James Wade, Wayne Tallent, Don Reynolds and Devon Tallent.
Survivors include her son, Steve Tallent (Marsha); daughters, Susan Tallent and Kim Tallent; grandchildren, Desiree’ Tallent, Christopher Tallent, Devon Tallent; great grandchildren, Alaska Tallent and Vega Tallent; several nieces and nephews remain.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Tallent; brothers, Berlin Murphy and RL Murphy; sister, Virginia Hughes; grandchildren, Amber Tallent and James Tallent.
She was the daughter of the late Lathan Murphy and Sara Josephine Murphy.
The family requests no flowers, but donations be made to your favorite charity.
