In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Zacary Smith, age 43 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of probation revocation.

Jonathan Burns, age 52 of Attalla, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of felony attempting to elude, 1st degree unlawful possession of marijuana, the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting arrest.

Brandon Wynn, age 46 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of nine counts of revoked bond.

John Hunt, age 64 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of SORNA violation.

Daniel Martin, age 46 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on three previous charges.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 103 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
