Toddler Injured at Christmas Parade

A toddler is reported to have run into the path of a vehicle after the Christmas Parade at Cedar Bluff Saturday evening. The incident occurred on the street between the Town Hall and Park. The vehicle was leaving the area when the child ran into the path of the vehicle. The tire of the truck struck the child causing injury.

The child was transported to Atrium Floyd Cherokee by Atrium Floyd EMS, treated and airlifted to Children’s Hospital in Birmingham. The child’s condition was upgraded on Sunday and was to be released.

The accident is being investigated by the Alabama State Troopers.
