GLENCOE – Nevaeh Gaidurgis and Ellisan Givens both posted double-doubles in leading the Class 4A, No. 4 Cherokee County Lady Warriors to a 57-30 basketball win at Glencoe on Thursday.

Gaidurgis collected 18 points, 13 rebounds, five steals, and four assists. Givens delivered 17 points, 11 rebounds, seven steals, and two assists.

Deannia Starr and Brooklynn Bruce both netted nine points. Starr also posted 12 boards, five steals, three blocks, and two assists. Bruce added five assists, and a pair of steals.

Cherokee County improved to 3-0 with the win. The Lady Warriors play in the Battle at the Beach Tournament in Gulf Shores beginning on Saturday. Opponents in the tournament include Cold Springs, Holly Pond and Gulf Shores.
