Early Morning Woods/Brush Fire In Ellisville

Ellisville — Fire crews spent the early hours of Wednesday battling a stubborn brush and woods fire in the 7000 block of County Road 14.
The Ellisville Fire Department was dispatched around 2:30 a.m. after reports of flames in the area. Responding units called for assistance from the Alabama Forestry Service, which joined efforts to contain the blaze.
As of 6 a.m., firefighters and forestry crews remained on scene, continuing their work to bring the fire under control. No injuries or damage estimates were immediately available.
