Rome Man Arrested for Aggravated Assault After Incident Involving Teen

ROME — A 20-year-old Rome man has been arrested after authorities say he threatened a 17-year-old male with a firearm during an incident on Mark Street.

According to reports, Evan Jacob Stratton allegedly pulled a gun on the teen and pointed it at his head while making direct contact. No additional details about what led to the confrontation were immediately released.

Stratton was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault.

The case remains under investigation.
