Mr. Harlen Cochran, age 94, of Centre, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2025.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, November 21, 2025, at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ryan Robertson officiating, and Matt Hayden as well as the grandsons speaking.The family will receive friends on Friday, prior to the service, from 10:30 AM until 12 noon. Burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens, with Chris Sale and Rev. Dan Hale officiating.
Mr. Cochran is survived by his son, Harlen Lynn (Ann Wells) Cochran; and his daughter, Kay (Dennis) Cochran Potter; his grandchildren, Taylor Lynn (Casey) Cochran, Harlen Blake (Lily) Cochran, William Sloan (Allison) Potter, and Haylyn Ruth (David) Kracalik; along with great-grandchildren, Hunter Blake Cochran, Anna Grace Cochran, and Raylin Taylor Cochran, as well as 5 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made in his memory to Enhabit Hospice in Rainsville or St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Enhabit Hospice of Rainsville, Cherokee Village Assisted Living Center, and Leslie Edwards, his long term caregiver.
