Day Street in Centre Reopened Following Repairs

CENTRE, Ala. — Day Street in Centre has been reopened to all through traffic following recent repair work, according to Centre City Public Works Superintendent Bobby Paul.

Paul told WEIS Radio that the necessary repairs have been completed, and the roadway is now safe and open for drivers. However, he noted that additional work may be needed in the future, which could require temporary closures.

For now, motorists can once again travel freely along Day Street as normal.
