In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Jacob Smith, age 39 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department on a charge of revoked bond.

Larry Itson, age 70 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, 3rd degree criminal trespass, and harassment.

Jake Skuse, age 36 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on hold for another agency.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 104 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
