No Injuries Reported in Wednesday Morning Collision in Centre

CENTRE — A two-vehicle collision involving a tractor-trailer and a Ford Mustang occurred Wednesday morning near Fuel City at the intersection of Armory Road and U.S. Highway 411.

The incident was reported at approximately 7:20 a.m. Centre Police and Centre Fire Department personnel responded to the scene. Cherokee Electric was also called to the location after the Mustang became entangled in guide wires attached to a power pole.

Both drivers declined medical treatment, and no ambulance transport was required. Traffic was slowed briefly as first responders secured the area and worked to clear the roadway.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Centre Police Department.
