Summerford stated, “those who provide illegal drugs to other people should be on notice that we will not tolerate those who help ruin lives and families. Drug addiction is an epidemic. Those who participate in providing illegal drugs to people in the community are part of the problem. If you are caught in the web of addiction, please ask for help. A lifetime down that road only leads to pain and harm for you and those who love you. Lives continue to be lost because of illegal drugs. Talk with your children. Let them know drugs will lead them down a path of incarceration, loss, and evidentially death.” The case was prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Brady Burns.
