In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Branden Shalhoop, age 34 of Section, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on a charge of 1st degree theft of property.

Wanda Hubbard, age 62 of Cumming, Georgia, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on two previous charges.

Kelia Crider, age 42 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Melissa Cox, age 47 of Leesburg, was arrested by AL Pardon & Parole on a charge of probation violation.

Tyler Alford, age 41 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of criminal littering.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 101 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
