Villa Fiesta Announces Closure of Gadsden Location After 32 Years

Gadsden-After more than three decades serving the Gadsden community, Villa Fiesta has announced it is closing its Gadsden location. The longtime Mexican restaurant shared the news in a statement dated November 2, 2025, marking the end of a 32-year chapter in the city.

In the announcement, the restaurant reflected on its history as more than a dining establishment, describing Villa Fiesta as a place where friendships formed, families gathered, and community traditions grew. The owners expressed gratitude to generations of customers who celebrated milestones, shared meals, and became part of the restaurant’s story.

The statement also emphasized appreciation for past and present employees, noting their dedication and kindness as central to the restaurant’s success and legacy.

“We’re proud to have been part of this community,” the statement read, adding that memories made inside the Gadsden location will remain meaningful to the Villa Fiesta family. “It’s not easy to say goodbye, but the memories and love this community has shown us will stay with us forever.”

While the Gadsden location is closing, Villa Fiesta will continue operating at its Sardis location, where customers can still expect the same food, hospitality, and familiar faces.

The announcement closed with a heartfelt thank-you to the people of Gadsden for welcoming the restaurant into their lives for more than three decades.
