Two Piedmont Residents Killed, Child Injured in Calhoun County Collision

Piedmont-Two Piedmont residents were killed, and a child was injured in a head-on collision late Friday night in Calhoun County, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

The crash occurred at approximately 11:48 p.m. on November 1 along Alabama Highway 9, roughly four miles south of Piedmont. Alabama State Troopers report that 37-year-old Patryck L. Smith of Piedmont was driving a Ford Taurus when it collided head-on with a Toyota Camry driven by 40-year-old Kimberly Kelisha Eden Feazell, also of Piedmont.

Both drivers died as a result of the crash. A 9-year-old child was also injured in the collision and transported for medical treatment. No additional details regarding the child’s condition were immediately released.

The crash remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
