Sen. Andrew Jones Presents Grant Funding to Attalla City Schools

Attalla-Attalla City Schools has received more than $21,000 in grant funding to support classroom needs and school projects, thanks to assistance from State Sen. Andrew Jones.
District officials announced the funding this week, expressing appreciation for Jones’ continued support. According to the school system, the $21,100 allocation will fund 61 classroom grants and three school special project grants.
“It’s a great time to be a Blue Devil,” the district stated, noting the grant awards will directly benefit educators and students across the system.
Jones recently visited Attalla City Schools to personally present the checks. He said 63 teachers will receive $100 each to purchase classroom supplies, while each school will receive $5,000 for a special project.
“I’m proud to bring back your tax dollars to support our fantastic educators and students,” Jones said.
The funding aims to enhance classroom instruction and provide schools with additional resources to support student learning and development.
