The Collinsville Panthers defeated Valley Head 49-21 while the Sand Rock Wildcats fell at Whitesburg Christian 31-14 in area high school football action on Thursday night.
The Panthers end the regular season at 8-2 and will travel to Colbert County in the opening round of the Class 3A state playoffs next Friday. The Wildcats drop to 3-7 and will play at Red Bay next Friday in the Class 2A state playoffs.
