CEDAR BLUFF – The Cedar Bluff Tigers closed out the 2025 football season with a bang against Donoho on Thursday night.
Jamison Miller returned the opening kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown. He then added a 32-yard score at the end of the first quarter in the Tigers’ 35-19 victory.
Miller finished with 150 yards rushing on 23 carries with a touchdown.
In between Miller’s touchdowns, Sam Payne posted a 40-yard touchdown run. Cedar Bluff led 21-0 at the end of the first quarter.
Zach Jones accounted for the Tigers’ other two scores in the second. The first was a 60-yard interception return for a touchdown and a 43-yard touchdown reception. Those two scores extended Cedar Bluff’s advantage to 35-0 at halftime.
Jones led the Tiger receivers with five catches for 88 yards and a touchdown. He also broke up a pair of passes on defense. Fischer Young completed 9-of-13 pass attempts for 135 yards and two touchdowns.
Donoho (0-10) tried to make it a game in the second half by scoring all 19 of their points, but the Tigers held on for the win.
Payne led the Tiger defense with 11 tackles. Saw Jordan had 10 stops, including two for loss with a sack. Hudson Smith had an interception. Young and Jeremiah Miller both forced a fumble. Max Alexander and Zahlen Kyle both recovered a fumble.
Jonas Brown had three pass breakups.
Cedar Bluff finishes the season at 3-7.
