Pisgah Man Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash Near Dutton

Jackson County-A two-vehicle crash Monday evening in Jackson County claimed the life of a Pisgah man, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

The crash occurred at approximately 5:05 p.m. on Oct. 27 on Alabama 40 near Jackson County 418, about two miles north of Dutton.

Troopers said 60-year-old Timothy A. Bradford was fatally injured when the 2006 Buick LaCrosse he was driving collided head-on with a 2017 Ram 1500 driven by 59-year-old Jesus Garcia of Sylvania. After the impact, Bradford’s vehicle left the roadway and overturned into a ditch.

Bradford, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Jesus Garcia and a passenger in his vehicle, 55-year-old Norma L. Garcia of Sylvania, were both injured and transported to DeKalb Regional Medical Center in Fort Payne for treatment.

Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate the crash.
