Line Main Street Tuesday to Cheer On the Lady Warriors as They Head to the Elite Eight!

Centre — The Cherokee County Lady Warriors volleyball team is on their way to the Class 4A Elite Eight in Birmingham. The team will compete at the Birmingham CrossPlex, with their first match set for Wednesday at noon against St. Michael Catholic.

The Lady Warriors enter the tournament with an impressive 48–9 record for the season.

Fans and community members are invited to give the team a spirited send-off on Tuesday morning. The Lady Warriors’ bus will depart Centre just before 11 a.m., traveling down Main Street. Residents are encouraged to line the sidewalks in front of local shops to cheer as the team heads out of town.

Business owners and community members alike are invited to step outside, wave signs, and show their support for the Lady Warriors as they represent Cherokee County on the state stage.
