Halloween prompts some area high school football games to move to Thursday night

With Halloween falling on Friday night, several area high school football games have been moved to Thursday.

Thursday night’s games now include Gaylesville (3-6) at Notasulga (4-3) and Sand Rock (3-6) at Whitesburg Christian (4-5), which join Collinsville (7-2) at Valley Head (3-6) and the Foothills Tractor Game of the Week, Donoho (0-9) at Cedar Bluff (2-7).

Remaining on Friday night is Spring Garden (6-3) at Ranburne (3-6) and Glencoe (7-2) at Piedmont (9-0). Cherokee County High School has the week off.

Kickoff for all games is still 7 p.m. Pregame for Thursday’s Donoho at Cedar Bluff game is approximately 6:30 p.m.
