City of Rome Invites Community to Vote for Their Favorite Pumpkin

In Inaugural Pumpkin Decorating Contest at City Hall

ROME, GA — The City of Rome Employee Engagement Committee is excited to announce the inaugural City Department Pumpkin Decorating Contest; the public is invited to join in the fun by voting for their favorite pumpkin masterpiece!

Location: Rome City Hall, 601 Broad Street
Voting Period: Now through 3:00 p.m. on October 31
How to Vote: $1 = 1 Vote

All proceeds from the contest will benefit the Employee-Funded Scholarship Program, which provides educational support for the dependents of City of Rome employees.

The pumpkins on display were created and decorated by City of Rome employees, showcasing their creativity and community spirit. Visitors can enjoy a variety of imaginative designs; from spooky to funny to downright artistic – and vote for their favorite.

A trophy will be awarded to the creator of the pumpkin that receives the most votes and earns the title of Best Pumpkin of 2025.
