Birmingham, Ala. — The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for the WEIS Radio listening area this morning.
Areas of thick, patchy fog are expected to significantly reduce visibility for motorists across the region. Drivers are urged to use caution, allow extra travel time, and reduce speed when encountering foggy conditions.
The advisory remains in effect until 9 a.m., after which visibility is expected to gradually improve as the fog lifts.
