GUNTERSVILLE – Mason McAteer completed 16-of-23 pass attempts for 311 yards and four touchdowns. He also ran for 80 yard on five carries with two scores in leading the Collinsville Panthers to a 53-7 Class 3A, Region 8 football victory at Brindlee Mountain on Friday night.

Gavin Lang and Sylas Adams topped the Panther pass catchers with seven receptions apiece. Lang accumulated 160 yards and three touchdowns of 15, 45 and 64 yards. Adams finished with 121 yards.

Carson Clanton added a 7-yard touchdown reception and Travis Ledford had a 1-yard touchdown rushing.

On defense, Noah Johnson returned an interception 50 yards for a score in the third quarter.

The Panthers built a 32-7 lead at halftime.

Collinsville (6-2, 4-2) hosts Holly Pond on Friday.
