Milwaukee, WI –  The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum has announced the release of a first-of-its-kind Alabama Crimson Tide Football Top 25 Ranking Tracker Bobblehead, just ahead of #6 Alabama’s highly anticipated matchup against #11 Tennessee on Saturday night in Tuscaloosa.

The unique, officially licensed bobblehead features Alabama’s beloved mascot, Big Al, and allows fans to change the team’s ranking each week. Standing on a football field base, Big Al is positioned on numbered blocks that can be adjusted as the Crimson Tide’s position in the polls changes. The mascot is also holding a football adorned with the Alabama logo.

Each bobblehead will be individually numbered to 2,025 and is priced at $40, plus a flat-rate shipping charge of $8 per order. They are available exclusively through the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum’s online store, with shipping expected to begin in February.

“We’re excited to add Alabama to our Top 25 Ranking Bobblehead Series, which has been very popular with college football fans across the country,” said Phil Sklar, co-founder and CEO of the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum. “This bobblehead will be the perfect way for Alabama fans to track the team’s ranking each week and show off their school pride all year long.”

Big Al, the Crimson Tide’s costumed elephant mascot, made his debut in 1980, but the elephant has been linked to Alabama football since the 1930s. The tradition began after Atlanta Journal sportswriter Everett Strupper described the 1930 Alabama team as a herd of “Red Elephants” charging onto the field — a nickname that has endured for nearly a century.

The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, located at 170 S. 1st Street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, opened to the public in 2019. The museum produces high-quality, customized bobbleheads for retail sale and for organizations, individuals, and teams across the country.
