In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Benny Bellew, age 50 of Gadsden, was arrested by the Centre Police Department for failure to appear on two previous charges.

Skylar Kirk, age 31 of Jacksonville, was arrested by the Centre Police Department for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Jaclyn Derochea, age 47 of Hokes Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Christopher Chappell, age 47 of Hokes Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Cora Ann Knight, age 67 of Fairmount, Georgia, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of probation revocation.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 102 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
