2025 Halloween/Fall Event Calendar

Saturday, October 18th

🎃The City of Attalla’s Heritage Day Festival is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 18, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with free admission. There will be something for everyone to enjoy in Historic Downtown Attalla. Sunday, October 19th

🎃First Baptist Centre/The ROC will be having a Fall Festival on Sunday, Oct. 19, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., with free games for all ages, delicious food, candy, prizes, and plenty of fall fun! For more information, visit the event page.

Tuesday, October 21st

🎃Gadsden State Community College invites you to Candy with the Cardinals from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21, on the Wallace Drive Campus quad, 1001 George Wallace Drive in Gadsden, featuring games, crafts, face painting, candy, and live music from the Gadsden State Show Band. Attendees can also meet student-athletes and explore college programs with on-site enrollment specialists.

Thursday, October 23rd

🎃Gadsden State Community College Ayers Campus invites you to Candy with the Cardinals from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23, on the Cheaha Career Center lawn, 1731 Coleman Road in Anniston, with games, prizes, candy, and face painting

Friday, October 24th

🎃Gadsden State Cherokee and the Cherokee County Department of Human Resources will co-host Trunk or Treat on Friday, Oct. 24, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the front Academic Building parking lot at 801 Cedar Bluff Road in Centre, featuring games, candy, face painting, and photos with Gadsden State mascot “Swoop.”

Saturday, October 25th

🎃Summerville Main Street and Summerville Trion Optimist Club will host the annual Pumpkin Palooza with Pumpkin Derby and Halloween Candy Walk on Saturday, Oct. 25, on the East Washington Streetscape area. Vendors will be on hand with a variety of foods, crafts, and retail. The Pumpkin Palooza will run from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m, the Halloween Candy Walk from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m, the TVRM train arrival at 1 p.m., a Youth Halloween Costume Contest for ages newborn from 12 p.m. to 11:30 a.m., and The Night Of The Jack – O’ – Lanterns at The Couey House will be from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

🎃Everyone’s invited to the 5th Annual Trunk or Treat at Pine View Crossing Apartments on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 1052 Bay Spring Road in Centre (across the Bypass from Jack’s Restaurant). Bring your family out for a fun evening with the residents. There will be free candy, games, and face painting.

Thursday, October 30th

🎃The City of Centre’s Police and Fire Departments proudly host the 3rd Annual Uptown Trunk or Treat on Thursday, Oct. 30, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on East Main Street in Centre. For more information, contact the Centre PD at 256-927-3661.

Friday, October 31st

🎃The Fort Payne Chamber of Commerce Annual Halloween Block Party is set for Friday, Oct. 31, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the DeKalb County VFW Fairgrounds, 151 18th Street NE in Fort Payne. Join us for another fun year of trick-or-treating. Inside the VFW Fairgrounds, we encourage you to go on in and walk around. Try and form lines in front of the businesses rather than a single line all around. It is free to participate, both businesses and trick-or-treaters.

🎃Reverence Baptist Church presents a Fall Festival on Friday, Oct. 31, from at 5 p.m. at 115 Princeton Avenue in Gadsden. Admission is free! There will be plenty of candy, games, and fun! Pastor Allen Ragan invites everyone to come fellowship!

🎃Tates Chapel Baptist Church will hold a Trunk or Treat on Friday, Oct. 31, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with at 2760 County Road 26 in Centre.

🎃Grace Pointe Church of God presents the Annual Block Party on Friday, Oct. 31, in the Old Kmart parking lot in Centre, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will be games, live music with Double Portion, trunk or treat, slime, and surprises!

🎃The City of Menlo will hold a Halloween Walk on Friday, Oct. 31, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET at the Menlo Park. For more information, call Menlo City Hall at 706-862-2440.

🎃The 20th Annual Trunk or Treat in the Park hosted by the Town of Cedar Bluff will be held Friday, Oct. 31, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Cedar Bluff Town Park, 3420 Spring Street. There will be candy, inflatables, and hayrides. For more info, call Town Hall at 256-779-6121.

🎃The 3rd Annual Boo Bash sponsored by Attalla Parks & Rec. will be held Friday, Oct. 31, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Larry Means Football Field, 201 Case Avenue, Attalla. For more information, call 256-538-9266.

🎃Everyone is invited to the annual Trunk or Treat event at the Mt. Weisner Fire Department #2 on County Road 71 in the Woodsbend Community on Friday, Oct. 31, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. with free hotdogs and candy, trunk display, games and music. Wear your best Halloween costume and have fun!

🎃The Town of Leesburg presents Trunk or Treat on Friday, Oct. 31, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with candy, inflatables, and hay rides at the Leesburg Landing, 100 Riverside Drive.

Saturday, November 1st

🎃The 48th Annual Fall Festival hosted by Downtown Cedartown Association will be held on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET in historic downtown Cedartown, Georgia. There will be the Cook Farm Petting Zoo from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Cedartown Polk County Humane Society Pet Costume Contest at 11 a.m., and Pocket Dial performing at Holloway park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will also be art, craft, and food vendors. Admission is free!

Monday, November 3rd

🎃Gaylesville School will host a Fall Festival on Monday, Nov. 3, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Old Gym parking lot. Activities will include a trunk-or-treat, festival games, cake walk, bounce house, face painting, sno cones, cotton candy, and more!
