In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Casey Beaver, age 37 of Sand Rock, was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department on a charge of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Amber Harbin, age 37 of Rainsville, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of driving under the influence and resisting arrest.

Dan Wacaster, age 49 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department for failure to appear on two previous charges.

Michael Humphrey, age 47 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of alias writ of arrest bond revocation and for failure to appear on three previous charges.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 98 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
