Piedmont Drug Arrests

Over the last few days, the Piedmont Police Department has served two search warrants related to drug activity and made another arrest following an officer’s contact with suspicious individuals.

These three cases alone resulted in five people being jailed on various drug charges, including Possession of Controlled Substances (Heroin, Meth, and Fentanyl), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuana.

Chief Johnson said Earl Dewayne Marshall age 49 from Ackworth GA. was charged with Possession of Controlled Substances and Drug Paraphernalia. Arrest date 10-13-25 Trerrance Rotavia Cheeks age 37 from Powder Springs GA. arrested for Possession of Marijuana 2nd degree. Arrest date 10-14-25 John-Michael Martain Marshall age 26 from Canton GA. charged with Possession of Marijuana 2nd degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Arrest date 10-13-25 David James Bush age 45 from Piedmont was charged with  Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Arrest date 10-10-25 (Search Warrant) Sherry Nicholson Brogdon age 60 from Piedmont AL.  was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Arrest date 10-8-25. (Search warrant)
