Pic ’n Sav in Centre Set to Reopen Saturday After Truck Crash
Centre – The Pic ’n Sav grocery store in Centre is planning to reopen on Saturday following Thursday’s accident that saw a pickup truck crash through the front entrance.
By Friday morning, the storefront had already been boarded up, and crews—alongside store employees—were busy making repairs and preparing to resume business operations.
WEIS Radio spoke with the store’s owners, who confirmed the reopening plans and provided an update on the employees injured in the crash. One employee was treated and released from the hospital, while the other was confirmed to have no broken bones.
A store employee told WEIS Radio they are thankful the outcome wasn’t worse and that no one suffered serious injuries.
The accident occurred around 1 p.m. Thursday, when a Dodge Ram Pickup drove through the front of the store, damaging several checkout stations and injuring two workers.
