Cherokee County volleyball improves to 38-8 with senior night victory over Plainview

CENTRE — The Cherokee County Lady Warriors sent their volleyball seniors out with a home win against Plainview on Thursday. The scores were 25-13, 23-25, 26-24 and 25-10.

Macy Lea delivered 40 assists, 11 digs, eight aces, four kills, and a block for the Lady Warriors (38-8). Raegan Garmany contributed seven kills, two digs, and an assist. Mattie Green managed three kills, a dig, and a block. Ava Haygood collected 13 kills, four digs, an ace, and an assist.

Jolie Alexander came away with 12 kills, four digs, three blocks, and an assist Ellisan Givens posted 16 digs and three assists. Nevaeh Gaidurgis earned 15 kills, eight digs, two aces, and a block.

Jesslyn Hincy finished with 13 digs and an ace.

Cherokee County plays in a tournament at Supreme Courts in Guntersville on Saturday.
